This collaboration has been a labor of love for over a year in the making. We had no idea that this launch would coincide with such a painful time in our country and in the world, and we want to approach this with as much sensitivity and transparency as possible. We certainly do not want to dilute the critical focus of the injustices endured by the Black community and our solidarity with the efforts to combat racism. When we contemplated how best to proceed, we decided to revisit the original reasons we were so passionate about this partnership in the first place.
As a small, independent business, it has always been our dream to introduce the joy, whimsy and romance of LoveShackFancy to a much broader audience, bringing all that we love to incredible women at a more accessible price point and a size range that includes plus sizes. Now more than ever, this collection is aligned with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, and reflects our belief that all women should feel powerful, feminine and beautiful.
